The Department of the Interior's (DOI), Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE), is the federal agency responsible for overseeing the safe and environmentally responsible development of energy and mineral resources on the Outer Continental Shelf.

Cooperative Institute for Ocean Exploration Research and Technology (CIOERT)
CIOERT explores and studies the nation's ocean frontiers using innovation and cutting edge technologies. CIOERT is sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Office of Ocean Exploration and Research, and headquartered at Harbor Branch at Florida Atlantic University in Fort Pierce, Fla.

Dare County GovEd TV Local Programming Development Initiative (LPDI)
The LPDI is designed to promote and assist the member organizations of the Government Access Channels Committee to directly contribute to increased programming on the Government Channel and/or the Education Channel.

National Park Service American Battlefield Protection Program (ABPP)
The ABPP promotes the preservation of significant historic battlefields associated with wars on American soil.

Office of National Marine Sanctuaries Maritime Heritage Program (MHP)
NOAA's Maritime Heritage Program is an initiative of the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries (ONMS). The program focuses on maritime heritage resources within the designated National Marine Sanctuaries, and also promotes maritime heritage appreciation throughout the entire nation.
